For the credits of the SESAME STREET 50th Anniversary Special, Magnetic Dreams was able to pay tribute to the 50 years of iconic animation that graced the series, allowing these beloved characters to meet the Muppets of the street for the first time.
As Art Director, I won the 2019-2020 Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Main Title Design.
Rickey Boyd recreated most of the principal character designs and key poses while I designed the King of 8 and Sesame Pinball sequences. OF COURSE the Count's favorite game would be the Pointer Sisters' Pinball Number Count!
Homage credits and LINKS to the originals below but special thanks to Sesame producers Edith Zornow and Arlene Sherman for giving animators such a vital platform to do their thing!
